Ride report of the Moto Guzzi V7
A ride report about the Moto Guzzi V7, both in the 2013-Stone version as in the slightly older Cafe-version (with that splendid green color that apparently only Guzzi is able to produce).
The V7 with the new engine is wonderfully agile, reacts alertly and directly, and is a joy to ride. Bonus is that unique feeling of the engine vibrating to the left and right if the clutch is disengaged.
The Cafe-version with the slightly older engine reacts slower, both on the gas as on steering. On the other hand, it gives even more of that "Guzzi feeling", both with respect to the sound and to the vibrations and the behaviour of the engine.
But for me: please give me the new V7!

Tips for Safety
Your motorcycle riding gear probably has been made to enhance your safety, you always ride with a helmet, and maybe your motorcycle has ABS. You would almost forget that those measures can only make a small difference in how safe you are, compared with the influence of your own riding behaviour.
Motorcycle riding means that you take full responsibility for your own safety, for instance by learning to anticipate on mistakes of other people on the road. Anticipating mistakes of other people and reacting with the right behaviour is totally different from only thinking that you were right and the other was wrong...
On ths page about safety with respect to motorcycle riding, we try to give some advice on how to enhance your own safety.

Where to sleep in Europe
For a motorcycle rider, hotels are a very attractive form of accommodation: you can travel with less luggage than when you pitch your tent, and you can travel until late, because you don't have to pitch your tent in the dark.
There are other advantages as well: hotels, the ones that we like that is, give you the opportunity to feel part of the life in the village or town where you stay, for an evening and a night.
In this article, we describe how we (try to) choose a good place to sleep for motorcycle riders.
You will also find some ads of hotels that passed our selection criteria.
